iBus works right in the browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, in its own window.

Android: install from Chrome

Open iBus in Chrome.
Open iBus to install
Tap «Install» in the iBus window, or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose «Install app» or «Add to Home screen».
iBus appears on your home screen and opens in its own window. Notifications work there too.

iBus is not on Google Play yet.

A small wrapper app that opens iBus in its own window. Notifications don't arrive in it. For notifications, install iBus from Chrome.

Android will ask you to allow installing from your browser, and Play Protect may warn that the app is not verified.

On iPhone, notifications arrive only when iBus is added to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or newer).

iBus is not in the App Store yet. The iPhone app is in closed testing on TestFlight, by invitation only; there is no public link.

iBus works in any modern browser. Installing is optional.

Chrome and Edge: click the install icon in the address bar, or «Install iBus» in the browser menu.

Safari on a Mac: the «File» menu, then «Add to Dock».
Firefox: use iBus in a tab. To install it as an app, open it in Chrome or Edge.

You can try the route planner without an account. Arrivals, favorites and notifications need you to sign in.
Installing doesn't need an app store.
You remove iBus like any app. Your account stays; you can delete it in its settings.
